RINGSPANN was founded in 1944 and is headquartered in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt, Germany. It currently employs worldwide over 500 employees in 21 international companies.

RINGSPANN is a leading technology manufacturer in freewheels, industrial brakes, shaft-hub-connections, overload clutches, heavy-duty couplings, industry couplings and precision clamping fixtures. The company has ten manufacturing facilities in Germany and abroad.

In the year 2017, a new plant for expanding the production of brakes, couplings and shaft-hub-connections was commissioned in Bad Homburg. In the year 2023, this plant was significantly expanded with an additional production hall and office wing.
